Archaeotour- Samshvilde Archaeological Site

Samshvilde is a small village not far from Tetritskaro. The area, where It is located, is famous for the ruins of the historic city. Samshvilde played an important role in the history of United Georgia. Here you will find ancient architectural monuments, medieval ruins, millstones, tombs in the shape of horses, menhirs, churches... and you will also enjoy the wonderful spring. Our guide-archaeologist will tell you interesting stories related to the site.

After visiting the complex, a picnic with a view of the canyon is planned.
