Bicycle Trail To Jvari Monastery

The bicycle route starts from Tbilisi - Gori main highway, near Jvari Monastery. At first the dirt road leads to the field and at the end one of the rather high ascents goes directly to the top of the mountain and ends at the Jvari Monastery. The climb is quite difficult and you may have to carry the bike by hand. Although the distance is not so long, it is only 1 kilometre.

The route from Jvari Monastery runs down by ordinary car road and ends on Avchala Road.

Part of the road surface is dirt and it is recommended to use a mountain bike.
