Chachubeti church of Holy Virgin

Chachubeti church of Holy Virgin is located in the village of Chachubeti, Kaspi Municipality, Shida Kartli region. It is a hall building, which dates back to VIII-IX centuries. Crushed stone and cut stone are used in the construction. The temple has storehouses on three sides, which belong to the XVI-XVII centuries. The storerooms are connected to each other by arches. The north annex has two parts and the entrance door to the church is cut in its eastern part. The south annex is a three-part gate. The middle part of the gate is the highest, the side parts are low and gable. The church has three entrances, south, west and north. There are two windows in the south wall, one in the east and one in the west. Small fragments of paintings and Asomtavruli, Nuskhuri and Mkhedruli inscriptions of the prayers are preserved in the interior. The east facade is decorated with cross reliefs placed in circles.
