Cottage Mukhuri

Are you tired of always seeing the same cottages, no matter the region where you travel, soulless and stuck to each other? Welcome to my grandfather's first house, which he built himself. Over time, it was transformed into my father’s workshop and later repurposed as a wood shed. I decided to completely renovate it and fit it out with modern comfort.

The cabin is located in the village of Mukhuri in Samegrelo, behind our house which is a guesthouse. The village is connected by transport (marshrutkas) coming from Zugdidi, Chkhorotsku, Senaki or Tbilisi. From the cabin you can reach the center of the village on foot, where there are several shops, the bus station and a bakery.

As a couple or with a friend, come and relax in this fully equipped cabin. The main room has a kitchenette with two gas burners, small fridge and all necessary items to allow you to cook. A table with chairs. To the left, there is a bathroom with a shower and hot water, a sink, and a washing machine. By a ladder you access the mezzanine with a double bed. If you come in winter, you can heat with the wood stove and pick the mandarins and lemons that surround the cottage. From the terrace, you will find the toilets, which open onto an orchard of more than one hectare. The yard is full of fruit trees, hazelnuts, walnuts, pears, peaches, pomegranates, figs...

At the end of the garden there is direct access to the river Khobis Tskali, where you can swim, just relax or even fish.

Free Wifi, sheets and towels are provided.

Upon request you can taste homemade Megrelian dishes.

Mukhuri is located at the foot of the mountains, known for its clean air, honey and Lugela mineral water spring.

You can also discover the Lugela valley with several waterfalls and caves. Hike to the Tobarvarchkhili lakes in summer (we can drive you to Natipuru hut). Climb to the Ostindale church. The Intsra waterfall, as well as the Martvili and Balda canyons, are also in the area.

The cabin is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or for children. Access to the bed is via a ladder and the mezzanine is not closed.
