Very nice experience with spectacular views for an affordable price! We loved it and would for sure go back again :) Didn't make it to the monastery in the time we had, but we did get a walk in the forest and mountain views.

Amazing horse tour!!! I didn’t expect to get this experience but it turn out to be the best horse tour I ever had. The guide bring us through Mount Elia. I know how to ride and he let me ride the horse. Nice and friendly guide. Will definitely come back again.

Неплохой вариант покататься на лошадях, но мы ожидали большего за такую цену.
Нас встретили прямо у входа в отель сопровождающие сразу вместе с лошадями, никакого инструктажа проведено не было, нас просто усадили в седло и после 45-минутной прогулки вернули на то же место. Лошадь все время вели сопровождающие, соответственно, у нас самих не было возможности ей управлять, что в значительной степени расходилось с нашими ожиданиями по фотографиям.
Четыре с натяжкой за новый опыт и невероятные виды на город, но еще раз не вернемся и друзьям советовать не будем, тем более за такую цену

It was a great experience, the guys brought horses right to our hotel and we walked up to the church and all the way down. They led the horses uphill, and then let us lead them on our way back as we got more comfortable. The road is beautiful and the horses where very calm.

Horses were great, and the tour lasted a good amount of time - views were spectacular, and there's an interesting mix of terrains. Some steep climbs, and stony underfoot, so not necessarily for the faint of heart. Also a bit weird that the guide encouraged us to take a taxi back to our hotel from the top, rather than take the horses down (which was included in the price of the tour). He said it was cold and we should take a taxi as it would be more comfortable, possibly because he wanted to ride down rather than walk in front of the horses. But otherwise a really beautiful tour.

DON'T BOOK IT'S A SCAM!
we booked a 4 hrs ride then after 1.5 hrs they got us off the horse , demanded a full payment ,threatened us and left us alone on the road.
We had to walk back to the nearest town by ourselves and take a taxi back to the car.
A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

A terrible experience!!!
we agreed on a 4 hours trip. the equipment broke midway, after about an hour after we started the guide (16 yers old kid that didn't talk with us through the trip) told us to drop from the horse becasue the trip ended and that we will take a taxi the way back.
He asked for almost the full price although we stopped mid way, with broken equipment and needed to walk to the main road by ourselves and take a taxi.
We argued about the price that we won't pay the full price and the guide told us we either pay or there going to be a big problem...
Very scary and bad experience.
When I have contacted the number from this site they told me I need to take care of it infornt of the guide by myself because it's not their responsibility..
Shocking and terrible, don't get close to it!!

The best horse riding tour in Kazbegi. Full recommendation from me.

Bit of a strange experience. Me and my partner booked this tour.

First of all, we texted them about the price, on this site it said 65 GEL for a tour to the monastery, but when we asked they said ‘that’s an outrageous price’, later saying the real price of 100 for a tour to the monastery and 70 for an hour tour.

We where supposed to meet at 15h, we scheduled our day accordingly (wanted to do a longer hike but chose a shorter one, mind you we have 2 days in kazbegi so if we don’t do a hike we can’t fit it in anymore), and about 50 minutes before 15 h they called if we could meet at 16h… we where flexible, but had we known we would’ve done a longer hike which we preferred.

Furthermore, when we came the guy only greeted my (male) partner and didn’t even shake my hand.

During the ride, which was fun, but because the mountain area is nice, he was talking and texting on his phone the whole time.

When we were almost back at the starting point, we only had done 50 minutes, so my partner said ‘this is not 1 hour’, and he sarcastically said ‘my friend I know it’s 50 minutes’. So then he did a bit of another round, which was nice.

I give it 2 stars, because he made time for a picture, the horses did a good job and the ride was beautiful. For the service I did not give any stars.
