Kvemo Karabulagh (Shavtskaro) Church

The Kvemo Karabulagh (Shavtskaro) Church is located in Kvemo Kartli, in the village of Kvemo Karabulagh, Dmanisi Municipality.

The church has a single nave (7.7X33.m.). It was built with large-sized processed local stone squares. It is rectangular in plan, with a deep semicircular apse to the east. The arch used to support the arch was supported by pilasters. The entrance is from the south. Nearby is a large architrave stone, on which the image of an animal standing on its hind legs can be slightly discernible. Other details are also visible. It is currently preserved in ruins.
