Lisi Lake

Lisi Lake - Lake in the Tbilisi Basin, in the north-west of the city, at an altitude of 615-730 meters above sea level. It is one of the most popular recreation areas in the city. The territory of the lake is distinguished by the most interesting and diverse fauna in Tbilisi.

Infrastructure is arranged around the lake: Walking and cycling paths, the length of which is 3 kilometers, open type cafe-bars, children's entertainment and sports entertainment spaces. There are several facilities on site, where it is possible to rent a bicycle. Also there is a climbing wall for children. There is a beach near the lake, where you can sunbathe. There are many picnic areas around the forested area.

The lake is one of the most popular resting places for water sports and fishing lovers. Sulphur bath is also located near the lake.

Nowadays, the Lisi Lake is one of the most popular, modern types of entertainment place in Tbilisi, which is constantly overwhelmed with the people who want to relax there. It is a space where people of different opinions, ages or nationalities have the opportunity to spend a good time.

In 2007, a new Hippodrome of Tbilisi was opened in a few km from the lake.
