Rustavi Metallurgical Plant

Rustavi Metallurgical Plant- Rustavi Steel is one of the largest metallurgical industry in the entire Caucasus region, located in Rustavi, 30 kilometers away from the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.

The Rustavi Metallurgical Plant was founded in 1948 and was the first metallurgical factory in the Caucasus that produced steel, seamless pipes, various constructions of cast iron, aluminum and iron. The plant was producing seamless pipes to meet the requirements of oil fields in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and the Middle East.

Nowadays, the new management and owners of the Rustavi Metallurgical Plant aim to restore the plant and develop activities in regional and new global markets within the framework of the main investment and restructuring program. The plant is now operating successfully and manufactures a variety of products, including: fittings, seamless pipes, iron casting, metal structures, mechanical details, lime and limestone etc.

Rustavi Metallurgical Plant exports to markets in the European Union, the United States, Russia and the Middle East, as well as to neighboring countries Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
