Virgin Mary Church

Virgin Mary Church is cultural heritage site. It is located in Kvemo Kartli, Tsalka municipality, in the center of the village Dashbashi.

The local Armenian population built the church in the XIX century, on the ruins of the old Georgian church. This church is ruined. Only the apse remains. According to the plan, the church is a hall building with an apse to the east. The roof is collapsed and the north wall is completely ruined. There were inscriptions on the church that have not survived till now. The stone with inscription was in the church yard too. Locals have been cleaning the interior and yard in the last years. Architectural details and old building stones are stored to the east and north of the church.
