Chargali

The village of Chargali is located in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, Dusheti Municipality, in the Magaroskari community, in the Charglula river gorge, at 1200 meters above sea level. It is an alpine village that stands out for its marvelous nature. Forests, beautiful fields, huge mountains and stunning views make a strong impression on visitors. The great Georgian poet, writer and publicist Vazha-Pshavela was born in Chargali; his house-museum is also located here.
