Tour to Big Okrostskali Lake

On August 14-15 we offer a 2-day adventure hike in Svaneti, on Big Okrostskali Lake.

Meeting place and time:

Ⓜ Didube (near to Samto Kimia (Mining Chemistry) building, between Lukoil and Gulf)

Meeting time: 22:45 (August 13, Friday night)

Departure: 23:00.

Maximum standby time: 10 minutes from departure time.

1. Lukhi Village;

2. Lakhami Village;

3. Ormaleti Gorge;

4. Okrostskali (Darchvi) Gorge;

5. Big Okrostskali Lake;

A detailed description of the hike:

Day 1:

22:45 Meeting

23:00 Departure to Mestia Municipality, distance covered by transport-420 km

06:00 Arrival in Mestia municipality, in particular in the village of Lukhi

06:30 Transfer to the truck and drive in the direction of Ormeleti Valley

08:00 Lunch in Ormaleti Valley

09:00 Start of a walking tour in the direction of the Big Okostskali Lake campsite

16:00 Arrival at the campsite and encamping

Day 2:

08:00 - Waking up

09:00 - Breakfast

10:00 - Packing up camp, departure in the direction of Ormaleti Gorge

16:00 - Getting in the truck and leaving in the direction of the village of Lukhi, Mestia Municipality

17:30 - Departure by minibus in the direction of Tbilisi

The tour will take place in any weather. It will be postponed only if there is a problem with the road.
