Customs checkpoint "Mtkvari" is located in the village of Vakhtangisi, Gardabani municipality, Kvemo Kartli region. It is one of the checkpoints between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Checkpoints of "Red Bridge", "Gardabani", "Samtatskaro" and "Lagodekhi" also operate between Georgia and Azerbaijan. The customs checkpoint "Mtkvari" is open 24 hours a day.
