St. George's Church of Navardzeti

St. George's Church of Navardzeti is located in Upper Imereti , in the territory of Chiatura Municipality .

St. George's Church is located on the active cemetery of the village. The church is of the basilica type. The roof is gabled. It is covered with tin. The church is lined on the outside with well-lit and processed squares. The entrance door to the church is cut from the north, west and south. A three-story bell tower is attached to the entrance door from the west. The interior of the church is lit by large arched windows, which are placed two each on the north and south walls and three on the east wall. There are relief images of the cross on the lintels of the north and south doors. A relief image is also carved on the facade of the east wall above the central window. The interior space is divided into three naves by two pairs of columns. The floor is paved with stone slabs. The iconostasis is made of wood. There are three pairs of pilasters on the north and south walls. The vault and the walls of the church are completely plastered.
