Tamakon Castle is situated in Samegrelo, in the municipality of Martvili, in the village of Tamakon. In this memorial building, we can see different types of building layers and materials: Developed and Late Midcentury's. Tamakon Castle is mentioned in historical sources from 1737. The fortress consisted of a fortress and several towered citadels. Unfortunately, nowadays, the construction is badly damaged.
