Tbilisi National Park - Mamkoda St. George Church - Norio

The bicycle route starts near Mamkoda, in Tbilisi National Park, and follows a dirt road to the Mamkoda Fathers' Monastery. In the first part of the route you will have to go through quite a lot of ascents. The road is relatively easy to get to Mamkoda Fathers Monastery. When you get to the monastery you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Tbilisi. After the monastery, the road continues uphill to the ridge. This section is the most difficult because the road is very damaged and a large ascent makes it even more difficult to ride a bike. Inexperienced cyclists may have to carry a bicycle by hand. However, in just a few kilometres you will reach the highest point from which the descent begins. On the way you will meet several oil fields and mud. Finally, the forest road will take you to Norio, from where you will join the Tbilisi bypass road by an already paved road.

Most of the route follows a forest road, which is why it is recommended to use a mountain bike.
