The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in the village of Dagva, Kobuleti Municipality, Adjara. It was built in the XIX century by local Greeks and Georgians. The temple is a domed building with three gabled apses to the east. The church is built of roughly cut uneven stones. The circular dome is surrounded by a corrugated tunic. All the windows of the church are arched. There are two entrances – from the west and from the south, both arched. There are no decorative elements on the facades. The facades are surrounded by plain, shelved eave. To the west of the temple is a bell tower made of metal, with a metal stair.
