Tskhvaritchamia Ascension Church is dated back to VII-VIII centuries, and is located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, in the village of Tskhvaritchamia, Mtskheta Municipality, on the artificial terrace on the outskirts of the village.
The church was restored in 2003 with the blessing of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia. Currently here is the Fathers' Monastery.
