Village Nikortsminda - Tchelishi - Leknari saint George Church

Chelishi Monastery, Ice Cave, Birth Place of River Shareula, Leknari Monastery,

The route begins at the end of the village Nikortsminda towards the Chelishi monastery in the northwest. Here you can see the source of the river Shareula and the ice cave of Nikortsminda. From the monastery we come back to the starting point and continue the way to the west. In about 11 kilometers you will reach camp side.

The route goes to south to Leknari Monastery where you can enjoy panoramic view of the Khvamli mountain and the surrounding area. From Leknari saint George Church, the trail comes back to camp side and get back to start point on the next day.
