Tbilisi Museum in Abanotubani

Tbilisi Museum is located in Old Tbilisi, in Abanotubani, under the Church of the 40 Martyrs Sebastian.

The museum includes open and closed spaces. The open space is dedicated to ethnographic artefacts, while the closed interior area displays archaeological artifacts discovered during the construction of the church. The floor of a palace dating back to the 10th century was discovered at the site. The cellar of the 4th century and the main Roman-type bath of the 2nd-3rd centuries, located directly under the church, are also on display.
