Often when we want to go on vacation with the kids we have to think more about the route and time. The first thing we remind of is the places outside of Tbilisi. Although the number of leisure sites in the capital to meet all the criteria is not so large, there are still some places both open, and closed. You will have fun, and the children will be able to play too.

Media Library in Vake Park
Media Library is a Multimedia library, where you can read books in a cozy, pleasant environment, and relax while children play. A guest of the Media Library must be a person over the age of five.
The Media Library has halls arranged for guests of different ages. The space is full of rich collections of children's literature in different languages. You can stay in the media library, in the building, as well as in the yard, and you can do it in any season.
The library is open to anyone from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m, in Vake Park.
From 12:00 to 14:00 you can take there the children to read books. And from 15:00 to 17:00 - attend animation screenings.
Every Thursday, at 18:00, there are meetings with interesting people, and on Fridays, at 19:00 - film screenings are held.
Experimentorium
If you thought about science as a source to find out more about the world and something that was only for adults, the Science Museum "Experimentorium" will change your mind. In Experimentorium, science becomes a fun game.
Undoubtedly, the museum has also become a favorite place for children. Here they can discover up to 80 interactive exhibits as they can be touched, observed, and tried as well.
In "Experimentorium" it is possible to take part in chemical experiments, a spectacular nitrogen show, test the astronaut exercise machine, see the infinite corridor and the well, as well as paint on sand-lit glass.
Museum of Illusions
Step into the magical world of illusions! Open the door of the Tbilisi Museum of Illusions and enter the magical world, where you and your children will have a variety of sensations. Curiosity caused by optical and sensory illusions will leave long-lasting emotions in you. The Museum of Illusions promises people of all ages and tastes an illusory, eye-catching, cognitive, visually rich experience.

Mziuri Park
Mziuri Park is one of the best picnic places in the city and is everyone's favorite park that will fill you with positive emotions.
It is located on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi. Mziuri reconstructed spaces and greenery are the perfect places to relax comfortably on a blanket on a sunny day. It became especially popular during a pandemic when it became a place for friends and family reunions.
In Mziuri there are walking paths, an educational center, a sports complex, and entertainment areas for children. There are statues of Nodar Dumbadze's characters at the entrance. Mtatsminda Park
Mtatsminda Park is a well-known and one of the favorite places for fun and relaxation. The park is located in Tbilisi, at an altitude of 770 meters, and is the highest point of the city. It has more than a century-long history.
The park is divided into three - extreme, children, and family zones. There is a fairly wide selection of attractions for kids and they will not get bored. In addition to attractions, the park has restaurants and cafes, shops, relaxation areas, a celebration center, and a wedding house. Tbilisi TV tower "Tbilisi Eiffel" stands in the park.
There are stunning views from Mtatsminda Park of Tbilisi and you can take pictures and enjoy the view.
The park can be reached by car, public transport, and funicular (built-in 1905 and is one of the historical landmarks of the city).
Mushtaidi Park
It can be said that Mushtaidi Park in Tbilisi maintains the status of the best place to relax, unwind and have fun with the family. Mushtaidi is the oldest park in the city. It has many entertainment places and attractions for children and you will be able to spend time happily with your family. One of the special attractions of the park is the children's train, which will take you to a beautiful garden with a circular route. There is also a Silk Museum, which houses a diverse collection related to silk, both locally produced and imported exhibits from 61 countries. Another attraction of the garden is the relict tree - Zelkova, which gives it a special charm. The park is visited by a lot of people every day. Here you will hear "the sounds of happiness".
Mushtaidi Garden was founded in the 30s of the XIX century. The garden was planted by Mir-Fatah-Agha, a fugitive from Iran who was a Shia Muslim religious leader of the Persian Shiites - a Mujtahid. A great part of the complex has been demolished over time. Only the main building where the Silk Museum is currently housed has survived. It has the status of an immovable cultural monument of national importance.
Mushtaidi Park is still a popular place and hosts people of any age. Here, sometimes, on weekends, the festival "Taste Tbilisi" is held.
